Am I the only yarn crafter that squeals with delight after stumbling upon crochet clothing that doesn't look like it has been collecting dust in grandma's attic? I hope not! It's so inspiring to see designers like Helen Rodel create such modern fashion statements through crochet. Check out her other creations here and watch this video that shows her intricate crochet work up close.

these are insane!!!!
ReplyDeleteI totally and completely understand your feelings toward crochet. As much as I love it, it's really hard to make something that doesn't look too dowdy or bulky for clothing! I'm loving this artist, I can't even imagine how she made that!

I love these! But I just want to say that in the last couple years or so crochet has come a long way and there are a lot more wearable things because people are using thinner yarn instead of crocheting with worsted weight or larger.
