Weekend Plans - 9/23 - 9/25

I look forward to the weekend at such a level that is probably unhealthy. Alas...it is here and I couldn't be happier. This week was extra crazy-town busy and I didn't get as much knitting done as I would've liked. Oh well. There's always time on the weekend to get stuff done!

Here are my plans...

1. I'm super excited to go shopping at the Dallas Flea tomorrow. I hope I find some great handmade items! I will be snapping lots of pictures for another DallasMADE post too!

2. Re-reading my favorite craft business books, The Handmade Marketplace and Crafty Superstar. They both have a lot of great tips on being a first time seller at a craft fair. My mom has already looked through them and made some notes, but I really need to sit down and do the same!

3. Add these cute little bookplates to my book collection. It's like having my own library! :)

4. Bows, bows, bows. Always making bows.

For now, I'm just going to kick back with some yarn and reruns of Everybody Loves Raymond. (Come on...I know you watch them too. They are ALWAYS on. It's very comforting. Haha!)

What are your plans for the weekend? Are fall craft shows popping up around your town too? You should definitely go!

  3. Everybody loves Raymond is never on over here, I think I've only watched one show! But if you replace that with That 70s show, for example, I would wholeheartedly agree! Have fun at the craft show dear :)

  6. I just finished reading "The Handmade Marketplace" today- really enjoyed it!

I'm going to spend my weekend working on my Etsy shop, finishing up season 2 of "Larkrise to Candleford", watching "Bright Star" from Netflix, reading, and practicing knitting in the round. :)

  7. I hope I can just sit back and r.e.l.a.x. this weekend. Or if I get a burst of energy, do massive amounts of cleaning. I've been a ball of stress for NO REASON lately. Aggravating!

I have a run-a-mile-a-minute type of mind. Always thinking of what to do next, always having a new idea of some sort!

    Have a LOOOOOOOVELY weekend, miss!

I watch Everyone Loves Raymond often, too! It's kinda a family tradition.
