Lately, one of the only colors I can think about is yellow. I even made myself something yellow from my shop (finally!!), one of my granny square cowls! ;-) Here are some of the golden yellow goodies I discovered this week.
Knitting // Fair isle slippers from Toast
Crochet // Crochet hexagons by Valerie
Etsy // Bird brooch by Depeapa
Style // You can't go wrong with Audrey Hepburn and a yellow coat.
Art // Have Mercy Hand - screen printed poster by Jordan Grace Owens
Food // A breakfast cupcake...?? I'm in!!I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend! Can you believe we are less than a month away from Christmas? Yikes!! I only have two weeks left of class, so you better believe I'm burning the midnight oil on multiple papers at the moment.
What did you do this weekend? Who did a lot of Black Friday shopping? ;)

yellow is such a lovely color, no?
ReplyDeleteIt's lovely to see such a cheery color now that the weather has gotten cold. I may have to stick with yellow socks since most yellows don't look so good on me.
ReplyDeleteI love the color combination you've chosen for the new cowl. It's got great contrast without clashing.
I often don't give yellow enough credit. I recently came to my senses and made a spicy mustard and fried ochre inspired Etsy Treasury! Those slippers look so cozy, definitely blush-worthy. Good to see yellow has a special place in our hearts.
ReplyDeleteGolden yellow is my favorite color! Really any deep shade of mustard pretty much makes my heart swoon. That photo of Audrey is quite lovely. I haven't seen it before.
ReplyDeleteI'm on my last two weeks of classes as well! This little blog comment is me procrastinating from writing one of research papers that's due tomorrow. Good luck with your studies! From one collegiate to the next, try to get some rest for the both of us! ;)

Yellow and gray have been my two main colors this year. There's something so soothing and wonderful about the combination.
ReplyDeleteThat blanket makes me want to start crocheting one of my own. I need to finish up my current projects before I can start another one... but this is sooo tempting!
beautiful things!! I love the brooch. I've got two weeks left of school too I can't believe it- good luck with all of your finals and papers!!!
