I think every blogger has a "blogging bucket list" of posts they want to try and I've been struggling to accomplish a photo an hour post for months! I tried to do it on class days, but three or four hours of a picture of my desk got pretty boring, so I gave up. It was Rebecca of The Clothe's Horse and her picture an hour posts that inspired me to give it a try when I started blogging. Now, I love Miss James', Elycia's, and Kaylah's picture an hour posts too! It is such a fun peek into a person's daily routine. This day turned out to be surprisingly fun even though I thought I would be dragged down by the weight of my new books for a new semester and the realization that Christmas break is almost over. I didn't let that get me down and my mom and I ended up having a surprisingly great day! It's simple days like this that make me so happy. Oh and finding out that the most perfect store in the entire world exists and is in Dallas, TX is a real treat too. ;-) I took a ton of pictures inside Milk & Honey and will be sharing them next week.
Have you ever tried a picture an hour post? It is actually pretty tough to keep up with, but I'm so glad I finally did it! I took a total of 257 pictures though...that seems off, doesn't it? Haha.

Adoring this post Meredith - what a great idea :) I have the one line a day journal too, I love it!

What a fun day! You've inspired me, I'm totally going to do a photo-an-hour post!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photography.
ReplyDeleteI love that coffee cup!
I'd never even heard of hour a day posts, but it seems like a great idea. If I did one these days it would be so boring and/or horrible. "7 am, change diaper" "9 am, wipe rice cereal from far flung reaches of the kitchen floor"
so this looks like my dream day. coffee, working out, coffee again, shopping, and nat king cole. are you me !?! ;P
ReplyDeletei have already told robert we are road trippin to texas when we move back to TN. (it will be a wee bit closer than WV)
i want that horse sweater and REALLY want that polka dot sweater asap.
your collection is giving me heart palpitations.
(i am a bit over dramatic.. haha)
have a wonderful weekend. looooove yaaaaaa. ;)

ReplyDeleteI always mean to take a picture an hour, but I never remember in enough time to make a day of it. I adore that cup you have, absolutely mental!

ReplyDeleteI've only ever done one photo an hour post, I did it in September. They're so much fun, but kinda hard to keep up with throughout the whole day. :)
