A Sweet Valentine

I hope you all had a great Valentine's Day yesterday! I managed to have my best single lady Valentine yet thanks to some sweet surprises from my mom. She broke in to my apartment while I was at my internship and left me some flowers, yummy macarons, and dinner in the fridge. I am so lucky to have parents who never let me forget that I am loved. :)

I also wore my heart sweater and cozy heart socks with pride. I received compliments throughout the day that warmed my heart. Have I said heart too much? Haha.

How was your day? Did your sweetheart do anything special for you? Or did you do something nice to show yourself a little love?

  7. Happy Belated Valentine's Day, Meredith!

That is incredibly sweet of your mom to do that for you! Isn't it wonderful to have parents who show just how much they love you?

As for me, my boyfriend surprised me with flowers, a necklace, and a new knitting book now that I'm teaching myself to knit. It truly was the most wonderful gift. :]

Hope you're having a lovely night!

  10. I'm so excited I found your blog. Wonderful ideas and you are just fantastic, the bees knees ;->! I also read your About page. You are a beautiful young woman, stand tall and proud. Take up every inch your body commands and enjoy the attention. It's got to be admiration and if not they don't know what their missing. Beautiful, talented and smart a triple threat. Thanks again for all the work you put into your art and into your blog.

  12. Moms and sweater compliments are the best thing a girl could ask for. Cheers! :)

As for me, I continued my journey through a color slip-stitched scarf knit in the round. Haha, I don't know what I was thinking when I started, but I can't stop now! But I know it'll be worth it in the end.
