Happy Friday! I am so very glad the weekend has arrived, how about you? It is always so hard getting back into a routine the week after a vacation. I had a pretty big test this morning that I think went really well, so now I can just enjoy the crafty weekend ahead.
The past week or so I've jotted a few knit and crochet ideas in my journal that I can't stop thinking about. I was actually daydreaming about them in class this afternoon...full-on, thought-bubble above my head daydreaming about these projects. Haha. I guess I'm excited to give them a try! So the second I finished class, I bolted to Michaels to pick up a few supplies. Here's what I have planned for the weekend...
- I have another sweater makeover idea up my sleeve! I can't wait to see how it turns out.
- I also have a few ideas of what to do with scrap bits of yarn. I hate to waste those little bits, so hopefully I can come up with fun ways to put them to use.
- Of course, music and possibly a little Audrey Hepburn movie marathon will help me bring these ideas to life!
It's going to be a good one! I definitely need to catch up on my sleep because I stayed up way too late last night studying. Zzz..
What are you up to for the next few days?

Two of my favorite films! :)

I really love the "weekend plans" topic, the way you present it is very original!
ReplyDeleteI saw you're gonna visit Paris in may. If you love yarn stores (and reading you blog for a few months, I think you do), you have to visit Lil Weasel! (for more information: www.lilweasel.fr)
If you have questions about Paris, don't hesitate to contact me, I leave there! ^^
Have a nice week-end.
Funny Face, my favourite! Looks like a fun weekend. I got talked into going rock-climbing this weekend. Yikes!
ReplyDeleteI hated to throw away tiny yarn bits too, so I tied the ends together and wound them into a ball. The first ball became a scrappy scarf (the bits were about 2" to 3" long) and very silly. The second ball (and 3rd in progress!) is a giant shawl. I stayed with one colour theme and I love it so so much, and it's not even done!
ReplyDeleteI always love the pictures you share with us. They are so neat and pretty. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm a new blog reader and I've fallen in love! The photos on this post (and all your posts) are lovely! Plus, you're a local gal! (I live in Irving, work in Addison.) I hope your weekend is wonderful! -Crystal
ReplyDeleteI looove Funny Face & Roman Holiday! Hope you have a lovely weekend. :)
ReplyDeleteI've been following your tumblr for awhile but I just now clicked through to this blog and I'm so glad I did! You have great taste! from a fellow quiet knitter/English major/Audrey Hepburn fan -Margaret

I just went on a little and very well-deserved trip to the seaside :)
ReplyDeleteLove Funny face, should watch it again
Ooo, can't wait to see what you do with that bright cotton yarn! I am also a person who hates to have un-used ends of yarn floating around. I once crocheted them all into a crazy-colored blanket!
