"New York, I Love You" Instagrams

I had the BEST time in NYC the past few days. These are a few of the Instagrams I took around the city. I love traveling and I feel extremely blessed each time I get the opportunity to visit an amazing city like New York. Right now I am sitting in the airport terminal waiting for my plane home. I was extremely nervous about traveling alone to NYC. Thanks to Danielle's help catching the right trains, I actually did it. As I sit here safe and sound, with Adele playing over the speakers, I feel such a sense of calm and accomplishment. Silly I know, but this was a big step for me. I got such a big jolt of confidence out of this trip. I need to remember moments like this, when my doubts and insecurities are getting the best of me. Yup. You can do it Meredith. :) Thanks for the memories New York! I can't wait to share more pictures. I hope you have a great day!

  3. I just went to NYC last month, and I ALSO took the train to JFK by myself! I definitely patted myself on the back when I got there correctly, haha. No small feat. Glad you're opening yourself up to more travels, I'm trying to do the same.

  21. What a trip! So much fun. It's always good to step out of your comfort zone and traveling alone definitely qualifies.

I recently took a trip to Chicago (not alone though... I was a chicken...lol). We had so. much. fun! The city was bustling and so full of life. Coming back home was so different and quiet, but nice none the less.

Have a great weekend girl! I hope you post some more about your trip. :)

  26. I'm a native New Yorker so Manhattan is my home town but I completely understand how this city can make you feel a bit nervous, a bit anxious, when visiting especially alone. But you did it and you did it so well! It's a wonderful place so I hope you come back. : )
