I've already checked off a few of my plans for this wonderfully brisk weekend:
-Enjoy warm drinks in real mugs on a coffee shop patio.
-Take a walk around the neighborhood, camera in tow, and capture the first signs of fall.
-Work on a new crochet project.
-Catch up on a few shows on Netflix.
-Brew a pot of tea in my new kettle.
-Bake something! Possibly pumpkin bread? Although...this pumpkin donut recipe is quite tempting.
I hope you all had a great week! What are your plans for the weekend? Has fall (or spring!) arrived at your doorstep yet?
P.S. - Thank you so much for entering the UP paper embroidery giveaway! I will announce the winner over the weekend.

You have the cutest things!
ReplyDeleteI actually made pumpkin bread just yesterday. It was delicious! It was even better today.
ReplyDeleteIt's so funny to me that Texas would get cooler. I always assume it's like 100 degrees all year round. lol Drinking hot drinks in the cool air on a patio is the best! x
ReplyDeleteHaha! Sometimes I think the 100 degree temperatures will never go away...but it actually gets pretty cold here in the winter. Thankfully! ;) More time for hot drinks on the patio!
DeleteThere is definitely a coolness to the air here. Not quite cool enough for tights are scarves just yet, but it's coming... :)
ReplyDeleteOh one of my favourite things are clear blue-sky mornings with that chilly breeze. There is something really nice about the sun on your face but also being all wrapped up and warm in layers! Better still when you can catch up with friends in the warm over some hot drinks - those hot drinks look really delicious!
ReplyDeleteI agree Winnie! It is just perfect. :)
DeleteLooks like you have a wonderful weekend planned! I am looking forward to cooler weather. xo Heather
ReplyDeleteOh yeah, nice plan and nice pics! I just got from the mail the Pumpkin Spice Chaï and this weekend I want to try it with warm milk, cant wait for sunday!
ReplyDeleteI agree with you on that rush of chilliness, so pleasant!
ReplyDeleteOoh what a lovely weekend plan Meredith! I'm enjoying the arrival of brisk mornings...much more an autumnal girl. My husband and I are off to Renegade Craft Fair in London today. Really excited at not only the lovely hand crafted goods but also meeting some bloggers for the first time!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your weekend!

Oh Meredith I could not agree more. I love the coolness in the air as of late. Fall is my favorite season and Indy tends to look very rich and well in a word :: Amazing! I am your newest member and I wanted to say Hi and let you know how much I am loving your photos and blog!

Aww thank you so much Tyne! :)
DeleteIn Mexico seasons come & go unnoticed. I wish I could experience real fall. My plans for this fall are enrolling in yoga classes, teach myself how to knit & crochet & starting a book binding business with one of my best friends, but everything is being held back because I got a terrible kidney infection.
ReplyDeleteAs soon as I'm recovered I am going to start a 'paleo diet' challenge to detox my body.
Hope you had an amzing weekend.
I just love these posts where you share your weekend plans. It makes me think I probably should be planning my days a little better. Lol. You always have such ambitious and fun ideas!! :)
