Knitting // I love the latest knitting patterns from Tiny Owl Knits, a selection of woodsy, wrist warmers featuring a flock of forest animals.
Embroidery // These beautiful, embroidered pot holders from Karen Barbé are too pretty to cover with a pot!
Etsy // The dresses and accessories made by Isabel Knowles are so lovely. I'm especially fond of this foxglove party dress.
Style // This outfit looks so cozy and pulled together all at once. I love the combination of the trousers, the rhinestone collar, and, of course, the sweater. :)
Art // I love the warm colors used in Karolin Schnoor's illustrations. (via The Clothes Horse)
Food // I've made plain gnocchi before, but this sweet potato ricotta gnocchi looks even better! A perfect meal for a cold evening in the woodland cabin of my dreams...This weekend I am feeling inspired by the beautiful colors, smells, wildlife and general coziness found around a sweet little cabin in the woods. I wish I had my own woodland cabin of escape! I guess I'll just keep dreaming about it from my room in the suburbs...
I hope you had a great weekend! I went out of town for a baby shower and celebrated the tiniest member of our big family. I wish I had seen this adorable baby mitten pattern before the party! I guess I will put them on my always growing "Christmas gifts to make" list. Also, thank you so much for your kind words on Friday's post about Gathered! Your support and encouragement mean everything to me.
Enjoy the rest of your Sunday! I am looking forward to the creative moments that lie ahead this week. What did you do this weekend?

I love everything by little owl knits ... it always makes me want to dust off my knitting needles and try to learn to knit better, then I remember how much better I am at crochet and revert back to my little hooks!
ReplyDeleteI downloaded the free trial of Gathered and I'm sold. Love the interactivity and simple layout. So cool that you're a part of that!!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Mel! :)

ReplyDeleteI love the deer wrist warmers. I mean, they even have dangling antlers!!
Sweet potato gnocchi sounds fantastic!!
ReplyDeleteI always look forward to your blush list posts! Everything is always so adorable. :)
ReplyDeleteThis is one of my favorite Blush List posts that you've done, Meredith! (And I love them all!) I am just aching for a cabin in the woods to call my own, as well. Fall always gets me yearning for such things. :)
ReplyDeleteThis weekend was spent crocheting, cleaning, and watching Halloween movies on ABCFamily. Fall just isn't Fall until I've seen Hocus Pocus and a few select Tim Burton movies. :)
Here's to a lovely week!

ReplyDeleteHow could I have not come across Tiny Owl Knits before now? I should have noticed her other patterns when you were working on the fawn-cho. Her patterns are ridiculously adorable! I just went through and added like 5 of them to my Ravelry queue. :) I must make those wristwarmers...several pairs, probably. :) Thanks so much for sharing the link!

P.S. I was just thinking that it would be really nice if the links in your posts would open in a new window. I kept getting lost and had to come back to your site every time. Whoops! I guess I could push the back button but for some reason I just couldn't remember to.
I love the fox dress! I went to a wedding this weekend (imagine that lol)
